Working from her studio along the Northumberland coastline in the UK, Ali is an environmental artist deeply inspired by the seas and oceans of our fragile planet. Her work merges art and science to shed light on critical issues affecting vulnerable and endangered marine life.
Ali’s painted artworks celebrate the aesthetics and intricacies of the underwater world, blending modern coastal style with detailed scientific illustration. With a background in textile design, she draws inspiration from the natural chaos of organic patterns, capturing the fluidity and motion of the ocean in her compositions. Her signature style is further defined by her passion for the color blue, which breathes life and depth into every piece.
By creatively connecting art with science, Ali continuously observes and learns from the ocean, finding new ways to inspire awareness and spark meaningful conversations about marine conservation.
Every design she creates is a testament to the beauty and fragility of the underwater world, inviting others to explore, appreciate and protect it.
Ali's environmental work goes beyond her paintbrush.
She has been a rep for Surfers Against Sewage for many years helping to protect the oceans and the all fascinating life within it.
